Scoop International Fashion Show, Europe’s most dynamic and creative fashion industry event revealed over 250 UK and International premium, directional and contemporary labels at its fifth edition at the iconic Saatchi Gallery between, 10-12 February 2013.
Scoop International facilitated an extra 20% of designer collections showcasing stunning boutique labels covering collections from womenswear, footwear, accessories and jewellery, placing Scoop International firmly at the forefront of the industry fashion tradeshow calendar with buyer footfall numbers up by 26% from the last edition in February 2012.
Premium retailers visited the show included; Harrods, Matches, Browns, Fenwick Stores, Fortnum & Mason, Liberty, House of Fraser, Urban Outfitters, Bernard of Esher, Vanilla Boutique, Harvey Nichols, Net-A-Porter and ASOS, to view the industry’s best directional and contemporary womenswear, footwear, jewellery and lifestyle collections.
Nikki Rapaport from Bernard of Esher commented, “It is great to see how Scoop evolves and grows each time into an exciting edit of young, fresh and well priced labels. It is a cool and interesting exhibition and one not to be missed".
Renate Beaumont, owner of Vanilla Boutique, Oxford adds, “Its really is the only show to visit, it reminds me of Paris Fashion Week. I am always on the hunt for new labels for Vanilla and Scoop International is a great place to seek them out. We also visit Scoop to see existing labels that we stock and of course the location is excellent and the exhibitors are always of an incredible high quality, so it makes commercial sense to visit every edition".
Karen Radley, Founder and Managing Director of Scoop International says, “the fifth edition of Scoop International has been the busiest yet, with an increase of over 250+ labels showcasing. Visitor numbers have risen year on year with buyer attendance from department stores, multi-brand and independent boutiques. Due to the high demand of interest from exhibitors to show at Scoop International the sixth edition will be the best yet with the addition of the Phillips Gallery in Howick Place which is located 6 minutes from the Saatchi Gallery.
"With demand for space at Scoop already outstripping that available at the Saatchi Gallery this will enable Scoop International to expand to over 400 hand picked designer collections. We will be running a complimentary car service between the two venues throughout the three days in July 2013. The sixth edition will definitely have a 'more international feel'. We hope to see you at Scoop International for the sixth edition on 21-23 July 2013”.
The event showcased labels including; Rebecca Taylor, Hache, Mara Hoffman, Hipanema, John & Pearl, Filippa K, Vilagallo, Katie Rowland, Harris Wharf, Schott NYC, Handwritten by Tanya Sarne, Goat, Hache, Twist & Tango, Frye Boots, Unreal Fur, Ally Capellino, Tania, Eileen Fisher, Angela Caputi, Modern Love, Elise Gug, Tracey Neuls, Fogle, D-Due, Bjorg, Denham The Jeanmaker, Becksondergaard Copenhagen, Essentiel, Givenchy, Odd Molly, Plein Sud, Matthew Williamson Scarves, to name but a few.
